Dr. Paul Davidson is active in his synagogue, his Brotherhood, and the FJMC. He never expected that those activities would lead him to taking on a patient who was a high official in the government of Saudi Arabia.

Rabbi Andy Shugerman and Tom Sudow received this email from Nechama Namal, Director of Philanthropy of Woman of the Wall:

Today in Jerusalem, Women of the Wall sponsored a booth for the Worldwide Wrap. We encouraged women to learn the proper way to wrap tallit and tefillin and how to add a new and uplifting dimension to the prayer experience. 15 women wrapped for the first time. Some cried as they recited the blessings for the first time. They felt empowered to perform a ritual once thought prohibited to them.

We are grateful to FJMC for the opportunity to participate in this terrific annual event.

World Wide Wrap was a great success!  One hundered and thirty nine congregations around the world have registerd for the Wrap indicating that 4365 people participated.  Please add your club to the list by registering on our website.  See more photos on our FJMC HQ Facebook Page.

Israel is the only country in the Western world where it is illegal for a Jew to practice their religion in the manner they wish.  There is a law on the books in Israel that sends a non-orthodox rabbi to jail for performing a wedding.
