Men's Club Shabbat needed some Ruach. We partnered with Shlomo Shai to bring the Ruach to the House! He and his small band set the mood during our our Shabbat dinner and kicked up the Ruach room as we entered the Sanctuary for our service. Dancing was the goal and it was obtained.
After coming back from Convention in DC, I wanted to find a way to replicate the feeling I had from the Kabalat Shabbat. We hired local performer Shlomo Shai to bring some of that same experience to our service. Our traditional MC Shabbat with our members and families leading the service and sharing the Bimah with the Bar Mitzvah was enhanced with music and dancing. A video can be seen here

The program was a beautiful evening, Shlomo Shai added some Ruach for the evening and kicked up the MC Shabbat a notch or two from our normal service.
Men's Club Shabbat is a great way for our members to stay involved, many bringing their kids on to the Bimah. Live music worked well in our congregation, no one was amplified.
A fun way to get MC Shabbat more interactive.
