For the past two years, our Rabbi Pont led our group in meaningful discussions to help get us ready and engaged for the High Holidays. Using readings prepared, we had discussions on topic and set the mood.
Rabbi Pont prepared multiple readings on various topics for us to read, discuss and think about the high holidays. The main purpose was to be mentality and spiritually prepared for the upcoming holiday. In our second year, we worked from the Rosh Hashanah seder attached. This was a request by our younger members who asked wanted to know more and even to keep pace with their kids in the Hebrew school.

Self Assessment
This is a terrific program that gets our members engaged, educates and gets us thinking of the holidays. It is easily to replicate and use for all holidays. It was well received by those who attended. This was a great program for our club, it engaged some younger members and many of our regulars as well. It was very successful, we had about 12 men each year, our membership is around 50 guys.
This program was purely educational and Rabbi Pont did a terrific job in preparing for the sessions. He brought targeted literature and readings so we can be prepared mentally and spiritually for the Chagim.
Once a date has been chosen, let your Rabbi choose what and how they want to teach about. Bring in bagels and talk for about 90 minutes max.
