PROGRAMMING
Programs may be one-time events or ongoing endeavors. Please briefly describe program.
The Minyan of Comfort in our shul is led by the Mitzvah Corps, not by the Men's Club. While we participate, we don't lead them.
We held multiple programs (e.g. Israeli movies) with our Sisterhood, which were popular and well attended.
Besides our Men's Club Shabbat, we hosted World Wide Wrap, and a discussion of how to do a better seder before Passover.
With our temple Social Action Committee by giving gift cards to the needy for Thanksgiving.
We usher and switch sidurim around high holidays. We are also financing a project to install monitors in our lobbies.
We ran a Men's Club Shabbat in which we led the services, read torah and haftorah, etc. (Saturday AM).
We are planning a welcoming program with with membership committee, to welcome people to our services.
We supported multiple youth programs, including a "Sukkah Hop" and Hanukah "Sweetheart Dance."
We play softball on a regional Jewish softball league, which includes a number of other synagogues of all Jewish denominations.
We are helping purchase books for Yom Hashoah.
