At the start of each meeting we have a group calisthenics session.
Instead of a visitation, Regional leaders came to our synagogue for a Regional meeting. Our club had sizable representation.
PROGRAMMING
Programs may be one-time events or ongoing endeavors. Please briefly describe program.
Many Men's Club members serve on our Synagogue Pastoral committee. We often lead Shiva minyans at the mourners' homes.
Men's Club and Sisterhood held a Lag B'Omer party for our Hebrew school students
We had a Seder program with the Rabbi where we discussed how a Seder can be run, as well as history of the Haggadah.
Our members are active in the Hatzilu Rescue Organization and they deliver food for the needy. We also raise funds for Hatzilu.
Mens' Club member provide ushering at Shabbat services.
The Men's Club ran the Friday night service. After the service we had a dinner and a speaker.
Trip to Jet football game. Several attendees brought their children to the game.
We sponsored a Rabbinic dialogue with 3 other Men's Club - Great Neck Syn-Orthodox; Temple Beth El-Reform; Young Israel-Orthodox
