The initiative put structure and a process around our charitable giving. We still, from time to time, donate additionally to other causes and organizations, both local and national in scope, but this allowed for a more dedicated effort toward inclusion and Tikkun Olam. Consistency is critical. Over the first few months, it could have easily slipped through the cracks but we had one person champion the initiative to ensure we met our self imposed deadlines and continued the theme we were establishing until it became part of the fabric of each and every board meeting.
