The overall goal of our COVID Program is to provide meaningful Temple Programs to congregants using ZOOM during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Temple Beth El's Men's Club created new programs as well as adapted previous programs to meet the needs of our Temple Members. The Programs consist of the following three distinct components: 1) TRIVIA TUESDAY 2) RELIGIOUS/TEMPLE PROGRAMS 3) VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.
The attached documents provide a detailed explanation of the three programs mentioned above. TRIVIA TUESDAY AND RELIGIOUS/TEMPLE PROGRAMS were conducted on ZOOM. The VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS occurred through physical face to face contacts as well as telephone connections made with participants.

Self Assessment
The Men's Club COVID 19 Program addresses the needs of over 200 Families who are members of the Temple. It gives ALL congregants the opportunity to participate in Religious; Educational; and Meaningful Programs as well as providing Social Interaction. The programs have been praised by the congregants. "These activities give us all a positive outlook during very difficult times."
The programs described made a strong impact on Temple Beth El and the Community. For example, when we started TRIVIA TUESDAY, there were only a few volunteers. However, as the program progressed more congregants attended the event and were excited about making up questions and presenting different topics to the other congregants in the Temple. The program has continued since we also have TRIVIA TUESDAY during the various Holidays during the year. Our RELIGIOUS/TEMPLE Programs attracts many of our congregants who are thankful for the opportunity to partake in these activities. Our volunteers for the various COMMUNITY PROGRAMS and for the BIKUR CHOLIM Program were happy to represent the Synagogue. Our 'How to Run a Minyan Class" has already had participants conduct evening Minyan Services. These Programs are successful and have helped meet the needs of Temple Beth El congregants during Covid 19.
Temple Beth El's Men's Club COVID 19 Program involves Jewish Men in Jewish Life since it is Mens's Club Members who volunteered to prepare questions and lead discussions during TRIVIA TUESDAY. (Men and Women are involved in this endeavor). It has been Jewish Men who have run the various RELIGIOUS/TEMPLE Programs that have been detailed in this application. Jewish Men from our Men's Club have volunteered to partake in COMMUNITY AND TEMPLE OUTREACH Programs. Men's Club members certainly support the tag line of: LEADERSHIP, INNOVATION, AND COMMUNITY.
