The goal of this program was to bring our synagogue membership together safely by hosting a DELI-NITE drive-by and Parking Lot Concert. Participants received a kosher boxed deli-dinner that they could take home or partake of while social distancing in the synagogue parking lot. Participants were entertained during the drive-by with a free concert which was also made available via Live-Stream. An on-line raffle was conducted prior to the event to raise money for the synagogue's Technology Fund to support future events. On November 8, 2020, the Brotherhood of Congregation Beth Shalom Clearwater, FL held DELI-NITE drive-by and Parking Lot Concert. Participants in the drive-by received a kosher boxed deli-dinner for two that included half pound packages of deli meat, loaf of Jewish rye bread, coleslaw, NY potato knishes, kosher dill pickles, condiments, and an assortment of desserts. Vegan options were also offered. Participants could either take their meals home or partake of them while social distancing in the synagogue parking lot. Those that opted to stay were entertained with a free concert which uplifted the mind, body, soul and spirit. The concert was also Live-Streamed to those who wanted to watch from the comfort of their homes. Our Rabbi, David Weizman, joined in the entertainment as well and delivered a D'Var Torah during the parking lot concert. Additionally, an on-line raffle was conducted prior to the event to raise money for the synagogue's Technology Fund to support our Live-Stream, Zoom, Facebook, and You Tube capabilities for future events. The winner was announced during the parking lot concert.
